The cost of Tertiary Education has more than doubled in the last couple of years; especially for Nigerian parents who opt to send their kids abroad. This is not as a result of increase in Tuition Fees for universities outside the country, but because of the fluctuating Foreign Exchange Rates. Parents spent twice more than usual in the past 2 – 3 years to send their kids to school abroad.
Bridge House Partner Universities have come up with different support schemes to encourage our students and their parents. University of Essex, one of Bridge House’s foremost partners has graciously approved £3,000 scholarship for every Bridge House student who applies to Essex!
This is in addition to the £5,000 excellence merit scholarship award for the best student going to Essex.
University of Essex Scholarship: Conditions To Benefit From the Offer
- Students must be a Bridge House College student.
- Must have picked University of Essex as their Firm Choice.
- Student who benefit from the £5,000 Excellence Merit Award will not be eligible for the £3,000 scholarship as you cannot receive two University scholarship awards at the same time.
The Regional International Officer, Mr. Arinze Odiari, in a statement said:
“We have a long standing relationship of over a decade with Bridge House. BHC students have over the years, come to Essex for their undergraduate degree courses and excelled. We are happy to support prospective students through our exclusive scholarship offers.
While we appreciate the fact that not everyone will choose Essex, its important that this is made known to parents and students of Bridge House who have concerns about scholarships and exchange rates.”
