Dr. Muhammed Alimi Abdul-Razaq was appointed to the Board of Directors of FBN Holdings
Plc on 29 April 2021 as a Non-Executive Director. He brings to the Board, his skill set as a
Regulator and Lawyer of over 42 years post-call experience.
He is the Managing Partner, House of Laws (Advocates and Solicitors). Before joining the Board
of FBNHoldings, he worked with A. Abdul-Razaq (SAN) & Co where he rose to the position of
Partner.
Dr Abdul Razaq is a graduate of Law from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria and holds a
Ph.D. degree from the University of Hull, UK. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of
Arbitrators, Nigeria and an elected member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs,
London.
He has served the nation in several capacities as Commissioner, Legal Licensing and
Enforcement with the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC); Chairman, National
Iron Ore Mining Company , Itakpe and member (TC) National Council on Privatization .
He has attended Executive Leadership programs at Harvard Business School, University of
Florida, Georgetown University and the Lagos Business School. He is a member of the
International Bar Association and the Nigerian Bar Association.
He is the Founder and Chairman of Bridge House College, Ikoyi Lagos. He is the pioneer
recipient of the Alumni Laurette Award of the University of Hull for legal scholarship and
educational endo
wments.
He is happily married with children. An avid art collector, he enjoys reading and swimming.
Mrs Abdurazaq brings considerable experience in both the public and private sectors. Her
public service career includes serving as a Commissioner in the Ministries of Finance and
Women Affairs in Lagos State, when during her tenure, the broad policies that led to the State’s
Accelerated Revenue Generation Programme (ARGP) were formulated.
She was also the Chairman of the State’s Tenders’ Board, a member of the Federal Accounts
Allocation Committee (FAAC), and the State’s Executive Council. Mrs Abdurazaq has held,
over a period of thirty years, a series of senior positions in the Nigerian financial services sector,
including her appointment by the Central Bank of Nigeria/NDIC in September 1995, as the
Executive Chairman of the Interim Management Board of Credite Bank Nigeria Limited.
She also served on the Board of Julius Berger Plc from 1997 to 2000 and the Group Board of
United Bank of Africa Plc from 2008 to 2020, when she retired as the Chairperson of the Board
Credit Committee. Mrs. Abdulrazaq holds an M.Sc degree in Banking and Finance from the
University of Ibadan. She is also an alumnus of the Harvard University, Boston USA and
founder of the prestigious Bridge House College in Ikoyi, an independent private sixth form co-
educational institution.
Mohammed Abdul-Razaq, the founder of Dudden Hill Holdings, has c.15 years of experience in project
finance advisory & refinancing, public sector advisory, mergers & acquisitions, capital raises (equity &
debt), corporate restructuring & refinancing and strategic financial advisory for private and public clients
in sub-Saharan Africa.
He has successfully executed and closed 25+ transactions across 8 countries in sub-Saharan Africa with
cumulative transaction value of over US$10bn across multiple sectors with core transaction expertise
across Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Aviation, Telecommunications, Technology, Consumer & Financial
Institutions sectors within Sub-Saharan Africa.
He is the founder, Dudden Hill Foundation (2019 – Present): A non-profit organization focused on
equipping Nigerian undergraduate students with the skill to succeed in the corporate and
entrepreneurship space.
He is a Choiseul Laureatte and was nominated as 10th in the 2021 top 100 African Economic Leaders of
Tomorrow under 40 by the Choiseul Institute. He also serves as the youngest nominee in the top 10 and
the only Nigerian.
He is also an Executive Director, Bridge House College, Lagos Nigeria (2008 – 2021): Nigeria’s Pre-
eminent Sixth Form College. Graduated from Manchester Business School with a MSc degree in
Economics & Finance.
He obtained his BSc in Business Administration (Finance) from Carnegie Mellon University and MSc in Economics from Imperial College London.
He currently works at TikTok in the UK Monetization Strategy. Prior to this, he worked in strategy consulting at EY and L.E.K. Consulting.
He has experience transforming organizations across a wide range of sectors in order to drive optimal business performance.
He is passionate about education and has served as the Strategy & Innovation Director at Bridge House College since 2019.
