As part of the commitment of the Management of Bridge House College to support the movement for every Nigerian child to have access to quality basic education, Bridge House College adopts yet another school, Ansar-ud-deen Academy, Surulere through her Education For All Initiative. The Principal of Bridge House, Mrs U.V. Emeanu alongside members of staff, students and the College Ambassador, Abubakar Gobir presented the first sets of computers to the Management and students of Ansar-ud-deen Academy, Surulere on Wednesday 13th December 2017.
The Head Boy of Ansar-ud-deen Academy, Surulere, Al-Amin Abolare who aspires to be Medical Doctor, expressed his profound gratitude to the Management of Bridge House College for including
his school on the BHC Education For All Initiative.
In his statement, he said, “Considering the current economic situation of Nigeria, it will be surprising to find one out of a million organisations that is still committed to giving back and serving humanity. We express our profound gratitude to the management, staff and students of Bridge House College for this kind gesture“.
Chairman Board of Governors, Ansar-ud-deen Academy, Surulere, Mrs W. Adegoke in her address at the hand-over ceremony, thanked the management of Bridge House College for the donations and urged the students present to imbibe the habit of giving back and championing charitable causes that help improve the lives of the less privileged.
She said, “It is not the responsibility of any school to donate computers to public schools. Bridge House as a prestigious institution has demonstrated that Success is about making others succeed”. She added, “We all must learn to be compassionate to make Nigeria better and also remember to pass on the “Golden Torch of Knowledge” in our respective immediate community”.
